I heard the new Band Aid single on the radio this morning. It’s not bad (not that the first one was much good from a purely musical viewpoint; although it does knock that awful yank dirge into a top hat).

But perhaps more importantly it went down extremely well with Britain’s youth (sample size - two). They liked the Dizzee Rascal bit best. I wonder if it will get a US release?

As for the DVD - does it have that godawful Bob Dylan set on it?

I wasn’t going to bump the Thread from the second page just to say “Thanks!”, but since **owlstretchingtime** has chimed in with new information (a _valid_ reason to come back to page one) I’ll take the opportunity to say:

Thanks, **delphica**!

I thought the SST references were to the record label Black Flag etc were on.

I remember watching most of it, however i’d have been 7 at the time. There are quite a few people on the new Band Aid III record none of us on NADS could work out who they were yesterday.
