I opened a short(few months old) zombie about a thread I like. This thread was asking the point behind the “I’ve seen fire and I’ve seen rain” thread. We have #3 going now. I’ve posted an inordinate amount in these threads(not as much as I did, kinda got smacked back there as well) Any way the thread in question isn’t very long. I’ve posted 7 or 8 times. In mostly silly ways. I posted in it, when I opened it to lend my support to one of the funnest threads on the Dope(imo), newly updated. I would love the thread to carry on til the end. Then…a person who has never posted in either thread that I can see, pops in to “school” me on how I try to tell people how to be. By “Telling me how to be”. Ironic. Hmmm? Blantant threadshit, first off. Then I was junior modded. Then I was “schooled” again. I can take it from a Mod. Not complaining about the moderation really. It was ok, enough. I was not “bickering” with RoderickFemm. I believe they came in there to do the usual, let me chew Beck out, she’s easy to smack. I got nothing. Nothing from the junior modding. I wasn’t speaking to that poster. They weren’t even in the thread for crissakes. I was shouting at the clouds about my fear the threads would all be closed. Just came in to smack me. That’s all I can see. I flagged myself. (As this about a soft subject I realize the importance may only be in my mind. But it bugs me.) ---

So everyone can review, would you mind providing the title and/or link to the thread in question? It’ll be a lot more clear as a place to start, and if you wish, one of the mods could add it to the title to make it more descriptive. Just a suggestion. ---

I saw the “schooling” you were given by @puzzlegal via PM on your flag. In my opinion, it was nail-on-the-head and stellar. She tried to explain to you the problem you are having not just in the subject thread, but around the Board in general. You do this a lot: Take shots at others in a generic way, putting them down and “schooling” them about how they _should_ feel and how they _should_ act, according to your own opinions, and then when they react, you play the victim of poor little Beck. You bring so much of this on yourself, and that is what I believe @Roderick_Femm was trying to point out to you, even if they should have flagged it for moderation instead. It _is_ annoying, and you will continue to irritate people if you can’t learn to restrain yourself from the school-marmy lecturing you give to others to “lend your support”. You didn’t lend your support. You made it about yourself, were talking down to others, and then pulled the cloak of victimhood around you when they understandably responded. Try to stop doing this. ---

What? I wasn’t talking about Puzzles moderation as “schooling” at all. And I’m not a victim. I refuse to be. But, yes. I do try to restrain myself. I’m trying not to feel like I need to mother everyone. It’s difficult I resent being junior modded from someone with no dog in the fight. Except they wanna kick me. I sure hope it’s fun to kick, badmouth and treat others disrespectful. Cause you can. That’s my gripe. Nothing else. ---

For anyone who doesn’t know how to link a thread, there are a couple of ways, but the easiest is to go to any post in the thread you wish to share, and look at the bottom right of the individual post. There’s an icon like a two piece section of chain link, left of the […] icon which itself is left of the [Reply button]. Clicking that will bring up that post as a link, which you can use the icons, your mouse, or a Cntrl-C option to past into another thread, or share by additional means. ---
