Me three. ☹ There will be drugs involved in the sleeping effort tonight. I loves me some Unisom! :o (That’s me yawning.)
I screwed something up at work this morning - not major, it’s sort of a “practice” run through for a big task on Monday that I won’t be here to do. So I wanted the practice to go well so my manager would have an easy time with the real one on Monday. So now I’m trying to redo and mop up the mess. Yippee.
I got all my chores done last night, and the laundry’s almost done today. We’ll pack tonight, and then I just have a few things that I’ll need to do tomorrow afternoon. I’m taking tomorrow afternoon off, but KT’s not. Our flight’s at 5:20 so that’s going to be a tight schedule for him to get home and for us to leave. He says he’s going to go in early tomorrow morning and work a full day. I’m just tarting to calculate that and figure out what time that means he’s going in. More yawns for that. :o :o
But I’m excited to get on our way. Should be fun. I probably won’t make it in next week with real-time updates, although we do have a netbook now and may have wifi access so we’ll see. But if not, I’ll come back the week after with the trip rundown. Try not to miss me too much. 😉

Evening all. Thank Og it’s the weekend! And, if the religious scholars and meteorologists are to be believed, there are only 2 more days of Ramadan left!!! 😃 If the forecasts are true, then I have a 5-day weekend coming up! 😃😃😃
I would like to bow my head and utter a quiet prayer in memory of my first Hollywood crush, Patrick Swayze. Well do I remember sitting in the cinema as a fresh-faced 14 year old, getting all hot and bothered watching Dirty Dancing! Sigh … He was good!

Bad news, Red, they’re mostly from the 70s, so the bikinis are often bigger than some current red-carpet dresses. That’s the “destape” decade too (a subgenre where films seem to compete with each other as to which one can have more female frontal nudity) but those were brunettes, usually.
If you ever run into one of them, I suggest not making any attempt at following the plot, as Blade IV has more of one.

Don’t forget the passing of Laugh In’s Henry Gibson. He was so cute when he came out with a big flower in hand to recite a poem. I’d like to share my favorite, and the only one I remember.
The Spider.

I was going to take next week off. Then I found out that I’m assigned to a project that’s due on Oct 9, which means my part needs to be done by Oct 2 to allow for the review and posting process. Which means I have 2 weeks. Yeah, I’m happy about that.
Quiche for supper. Knitting after. That’s all I’ve got.

Sure **Muppet** you can communicate effectively, but how about with a sense of urgency and with sincerity? Can you do that? Can you make the other person feel valued? Huh? Can you? 😛
Dang what a week of deaths! Patrick Swayze, Mary Travers and Henry Gibson. I didn’t have any of 'em on my death pool list either.

The house is starting to smell all quiche-y. Daughter better get her butt home soon!
Glad tomorrow’s Firday - I’m ready for this week to be over. At least there’ll be cake tomorrow. They’re doing an Air Force Birthday Event, which means cake. Yay!

Whew! This was one crazy day. I barely had time to look at teh interwebs at all! And I did it all on two nights of not-so-much sleep. I’m just glad it’s almost over!

Should I feel insulted that my mother doesn’t keep up with my life well enough to know where I’m going tomorrow? She asked if this was the Seattle trip. Um… Mom? That was back in May!

My productivity was good while it lasted but has since ground to a halt. I decided to go to water aerobics tonight but I was getting really nauseated just driving down the road so I came back home. The ultimate problem is that the thing that usually makes me feel less nauseated is ice cream!:dubious:

One hopes not. I was barely coherent by the time my friend and I were talking to our boss at 5:30, so I’m not counting on being particularly understandable here…
Tired. Again. On the brighter side, I just got onto a bus trip that’s Tuesday the 29th (there was a waiting list). And I might actually be able to go.

I had always insisted that the reason the audience laughed so hard when Henry came out with his hippie/beatnik flower is because the way he said his name “Henry Gibson” sounded, to me anyway, like _Henrik Ibsen_ and that was intelligent humor. (yes, I was a smart ass as early as age 9)
