Am home from nursing work. Library tomorrow. Am feeling a bit overwhelmed by my many jobs and roles right now. Need sleep. Should I stay late tomorrow or go in on Saturday? I may stay late–I think I need some time OFF (like 2 days—hey! a weekend!)
Good to hear progress re **Gnat** , but I hope he can walk soon…
**GT** : I think you lied to me and you don’t really have a job at all; you just travel around to places.
And whoever went to Norway from Paris and is soon going to UK (no, I’m not about to go check for the name–you know who you are!)–I am so jealous I could spit. Is Norway as gorgeous as I’ve heard?
ETA: Fresh gummi bears are really, really good. Just sayin’.

I like the coke gummis. Gummi Bears are good in a pinch though.
Looong day at work. I is TAHRED and not at all coherent.
I have to attend Provider Resilency training tomorrow. Part II, bleh.:rolleyes: I also have to attend an Accident Prevention training session. All required to be done by 1 October. It is RETARDED how much “annual training” we are required to complete. And they wonder why people can’t get their damn work done.:rolleyes: By the way, I am not a provider, but still must attend the training.
Every month, it seems, they add a new requirement, but don’t take away any of the old requirements.
I’m glad Nat is doing better, **Li-Li.**
I guess I should get dinner going.

OK, how did **el mayordomo del perro** manage to double post over one hour apart?
Almost done with Finance… for now. The next documents are Production and were written by someone different, they’re actually in Normal Spanish (as should be, for Production). Two… thousand… words… to go and then I can start on readable documents.

Just got done poisoning the minds of youth/indoctrinating the new hires/frightening the kids with my session during their first week induction.
Priceless look on one guys face when I explained what Offshore Survival class entailed aka being submerged and turned upside down in a helicopter! 😃
Plans for the weekend including sleeping and being lazy ready for my travels next week. I got my Nigerian visa back yesterday as well as my Algerian one…fun fun

I am very sleepful this morning (it is so a word… if the trainer can use words like “planful”, then I am well within my rights to say stuff like “sleepful” or “jackassful” or “meanful”. nyah.)
Also, it’s kinda cold this morning. I think I may have to bite the bullet and _shudder_ turn the furnace on. :eek:
**mmmmmmmm** , is that actually true? Doesn’t really sound like my kinda job, that’s for sure. 😛
**swampus** , I don’t work in the call centre any more… so no need for me convey that I give a crap about anyone’s problems problems. 🙂 Which is good, because by nature I’m a grinch, and it’s very hard to pretend otherwise (besides, most of my team wouldn’t know tact if it hit them over the head with a clue by four).

Am late–overslept. Hard to get up on these cool, dark mornings. Off to work soon. Hair is a mess–needs washing. One pair of khakis didn’t fit (grrr), so changed outfit to yet another camel/black/cream blouse with different khakis, but am wearing black cardigan now. Didn’t know I had 2 blouses with same “theme”.
Must gulp down hot oatmeal and run. Toodles–happy Friday, all!

Apparently there is an Asda supermarket close to the Uni. So far I’ve found five other brands, but no Asda. I’m not sure whether it really exists or all these people are pulling my leg.
