Ahhh I love xkcd. I agree that it’s a good idea to read through the archives - a good way to waste the afternoon. Don’t forget to read the mouse-over text for the comics, either - it has a hidden joke! My love of xkcd aside, I’m not like that with cats. When a cat enters the room the most I’ll ever say is a monotone “Oh, hello cat.” Even if I know the cat’s name. And I might wave. Does that make me weird? (I’m a cat person, too) ---

For some reason I’ve started talking to one of our cats in German. She seems to respond differently than she does to English or my pitiful attempts to speak Basic Feline. Apparently “Farfegnugan” means something in Cat. 😃 ---

Often, I’ll offer my cat sympathy for all the hardships she must face. “Oooooh, it’s so hard to be a kitty. I know. Poor, poor kitty cat.” She appreciates my concern. ---
