Okay, point taken. I don’t know how I would have handled it, not being white. I know that I have had to deal with confrontations with both Blacks and Whites, being mixed, and I haven’t always had the option to back down so I tend to get riled when I hear about how someone else worked it to an advantage and gets the opportunity to laugh about it later. I understand the potentially volatile situation and will, this time, back down. :insert wry grin here:

You are correct. The establishment in question was FULL of rednecks, toothless women and the assorted dog or two. But it was the ONLY place open for miles.

I was carrying a long sword at the time, but that does you no good in a gunfight… \*\<;o)
