I think it’s also unfortunate that he put the Admins/Mods in the position where they had to reconsider their judgement to allow him back. Let the side down, somewhat. Also, I must confess to not quite grasping why he continued to post in that manner, especially given the circumstances; was it a compulsion, perhaps ? Finally, for those who didn’t see it (and as it’s not been mentioned in this thread), I thought I’d mention that he recently opened a thread in GQ that concerned . . . . _marriage_. Seemingly, the woman in question has agreed and, so, it’s his turn at the crease in the foreseeable. Curious notion, if you ask me, but I never did quite get that whole thing . . . anyway, just thought I’d pass on the back fence tittle-tattle . . . ---

Yep, **Zenster** has it. Apologies, I tend to write more in the vernacular as the evening turns to night . . . So, you crazy kids over yonder that might say “Next up to bat”, or similar. Also, **’luci** isn’t a mile away, either. One may talk, euphemistically-speaking, about playing a ‘long innings at the crease’ – which would indeed mean, in those nudge, nudge terms, giving the lady in question a right royal rogering. The mods didn’t ban **Collunsbury** -he banned himself. Like **Gaudere** said, he put them in a very difficult position. So what if he was “smart” and “had information?” Does that mean he can break the “Don’t Be A Jerk” rule and get away with it? Personally, I tended to scroll right past his posts, even if they were informative, because I was sick of his patronizing and belittling. You can catch more flies with honey, etc. ---

Damn, I too am pissed that a self-centered, condescending, know-it-all, was banned for disobeying clearly stated rules. Knowledge is important, I agree, and not everyone agrees with everyone else’s opinions. Being a dickhead makes you different. It lets others know that you think you are superior to everyone else. How can this be a good thing? Whatever happened to “I know enough to know how little I really know”? Condescencion and belittling behaviour are textbook examples of insecure people trying to lash out at the world with whatever they can muster. Intelligent people become vindictive for a variety of reasons, social rejection being one of them. Who could argue that **Coll** is reacting to some void in his life, lashing out at reminders of his source of pain? He can know all he wants, but if he’s going to be a condescending asshole about it, I hope that he’s incarcerated for a crime he didn’t commit, and daily gang-raped in the shower. Assholes are a cancer, feel free to eradicate them at will, God would want it that way. ---

For a second, I got pissed at people’s ignorance to condescention, then I realized that those that don’t care are the sheep.
