**rigs** , I believe it FCM who sold her boat, it’s ok though we understand your stress and so we forgive you. When I read you spilled tea, I imagined it on your hands, doing the two-cup cooling thing. But, um…hugging your tea? They just can’t. But it was really good (I cheated and used subtitles). It was as action packed as the ones you post–it’s alot to take in all at once. Talk about getting your money’s worth! 🙂 ---

Pugsy - when whatever the heck it is that causes my to start in on the allergy trip starts blooming, I’m done. There’s not a drug made that seems to help. Luckily it only lasts a day or two. Stupid Pollen. ---

I’m here! It’s still morning! **rigs** , be sure to go fully armed. Native markets can be dangerous, and filled with hostile insectoid wheely things, desperate for human toes. I’ve just talked to my manager about getting Saturdays off, and I also have to lose Thursdays so he’ll be able to hire someone else for Saturdays. Employees have to work a minimum of two shifts a week. He knows I’d prefer to work four days instead of three, and I’ll probably do fine for hours because it’s summer and everyone will be off vacationing soon. Today is laundry and figuring out what we’re going to eat this week. I also feel a weird compulsion to go back to Ikea. I think they drugged my pop or something. ---

I have been to a native market! In the language common to the locals, it is called a “big box”. These native terms are so quaint! There were indeed many rolling open cages, made of plastic and metal. Inside, attempting to climb out were many small offspring of the natives. Their plaintive cries for freedom were ignored by the populace. In keeping with my goal to blend in (and lull the [del]sadistic bastard torturers[/del]) I kept mum as well. The female at the entrance counter of this market was happy to take my piece of paper in exchange for sundry dry goods and food. They are a simple people. [del]SBT[/del] they’ll be gone by 3pm. Off to library to get some peace and clean air. **Lissla** -you didn’t eat at Ikea, did you? Please tell me you didn’t eat there. It’s like Persephone–if you eat at Ikea, you must go back. Mr. Lissar bought me aa hot dog. It was ‘a date’. :rolleyes: It was about the tenth time in seven years that we’ve been out somewhere without any of th other Husbands or Quasi-Daughter with us. Wow, it’s hard to keep up with you folks! **Mika** , I think I understood the summary. I read little bits between working this morning. I saw my very friendly doctor this morning. She gave me a tetanus booster and large doses of antibiotics to take for the next ten days and I’ll be going in again Thursday for a checkup to make sure the anitbiotics are doing their job. She said to call her right away if the wound gets worse in any way or if I feel feverish. Apparently 50-80% of cat bites get infected. Yipes! And muchos gracias to everyone who told me to go to the doctor! And yes, I know I need to keep taking the antibiotics for the whole ten days even if the wound gets better sooner. Apparently the cause of all this rain is a high pressure zone over the ocean that’s pushing wet air inland, flouting the normal west-to-east weather movement. Goddamn weather these days, got no respect for the rules. ---
