You want them poor frawgs to slum it?! At Christmas?! They’re tropical frawgs, and this is decidedly not a tropical country. I don’t want frawgcicles, I want happy hoppy little frawgs. ---

Wait, was that pic # 4 comment a reference to the snake wearing a sweater? Cuz if so, I, um, have a snake … 😃 So happens to be chilling on the couch next to me at the moment. Always seems extra-curious and energetic when i cook with bacon, so i brought him out for a “walk.” Actually, I _have_ been kicking around the idea of learning how to knit, and I think I just s my 1st project inspiration! My friend stopped by and we had some girly chitchat time but I declined to go out w her and a couple other friends and instead opted to be all productive. The kitchen and bathroom floors are swept (and the bathroom lightly Swiffererd for good measure) the litter box is totally clean (not just scooped out) with a brand-new pad underneath to catch stray crumbs, some dishes have been hand-washed and others rinsed and put into the dishwasher, I got a couple bills paid and have my errands for tomorrow all listed out … Go me! Dinner involved bacon, as I mentioned\*\* so in general life is content-making. \*\* chicky boob chunks stuffed with cheese and jalapeño, all snugly wrapped up in a slice of bacon. Been craving for a while. Anyway, the smell seemed to get my snake all riled though of course I would never attempt to feed it bacon. The mice that go into the snake, however … ---

Blurf. Since it was hump day yesterday, we went to the pub. Our usual pub companions cried off because they’re both ill with colds so we strolled round to our local for a change. Pleasant evening with nice beer was had…lots of rubbish was talked…and we were home before midnight. I went to bed but couldn’t sleep, kept waking up too hot, chucking the duvet off and then waking up again being too cold. Today I am all snoozy which isn’t good because I also have very little work to do and I’m trying to look busy. Luckily our team leader is only in today and tomorrow, so next Monday and Tuesday the three of us that will be here are planning to spend our time playing “Boggle” and drinking tea. ---

When my daughter taught up hereabouts, one year she kept lizards in her classroom, and she had to find something to keep their terrarium warm, since her wing of the school had terrible heat. Shortly thereafter, she gave up on classroom animals, at least of the non-2-legged types… \*\*FCD \*\*is on his way to work. I dunno what I’ll do today. It’s supposed to be sunny, but chilly. I may brave the chill and rake up some leaves that were out of reach of the mulcher/vac - I don’t think it’ll take 30 minutes. And I may have enough dirties for one load of laundry. I also think I have enough dirties to run the dishwasher once I finish loading it. I need to water my house plants, and I might go ahead and tidy them up - removing dead leaves and such. I have a bunch of rooted wandering jew cuttings that need to get stuck in dirt - I should do that also. And maybe I’ll make some bean soup for supper - I’m pretty sure I have a ham bone in the freezer. Happy Thursday!! ---
