This reminds me of the time I tried to come up with a joke that could have the punchline “A Santa Without a Clause.”
To my dismay, the only one that made my husband laugh went like this:
“Knock knock.”
“Who’s there?”
“A Santa Without a Clause.”
I’ve said that aloud at least ten times, and I still don’t get it. It is pronounced “roo”, correct?
Yes, “roux” is pronounced “roo” and so is “rue”–the word you are probably missing.
I received a note that said “Marry Christmas.”

If this means “eight reindeer-powered sleigh”, then shouldn’t it be abbreviated “8-RP sleigh”?*
