I don’t open many Pit threads, but I wanted to be the first one to do so here. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a lunatic, left-wing nutcase frothing at the mouth and embarrassing legitimate left-wingers and giving lunatic, right-wing nutcases tons of strawmen to knock down since **Chumpsky** left. But a new era has arisen on the SDMB! I have to admit his posts seem to read like a parody of Osama bin Laden, except with a little less “Godless infidels” and a little more “criminal invaders”. Chill pills will be handed out at the door, Alde honey, along with “Toning Down the Rhetoric in Ten Easy Steps”. ---

Wow. To tell the truth, I’ve come to sorta miss the **Chumpster** ’s cementheaded attempts to turn every issue into a wrestling match between the plutocrats and the proles. Maybe this version will learn a thing or two before the inevitable meltdown occurs, maybe not, but looks like some quality entertainment ahead. ---

Huh. I actually agree with some of **Aldebaran** ’s points in the second thread, but the attitude is obnoxious in the extreme. He (?) is so certain that all Americans are provincial, stupid, and unworldly. None of us have ever studied a second language. Hold on a second, I’ve got some hayseed in my hair. Okay, I’m back now. Oh God! He’s _horrible!_ I especially had to cringe when he got all hoity-toity with **mangetout** and busted out the French, like we were all going to go “Ooh, he’s multilingual! We must be dealing with somebody really smart here!” And then he followed up with a post correcting his French diction, offering the excuse that he’s dyslexic? What a dork! I give him low marks. Even for a you-know-what. ---

Eum, people would you be so kind to write in simple English out of compassion with the illiterate? The Americans among you surely know that all non Americans are stupid and that at the very least 99% of the non American world is illiterate, no? Yes you do. And before you put my name here in the same sentence with an other one, can someone explane who this “december” might be? Now I have an amusing game for you: Where the hell does Aldebaran comes from. I’ll see you tomorrow. I have to get some sleep. We live in a very different time zone but: I don’t say what time it is overhere. (You can find a hint about that in one of my posts of today.) Sorry to disappoint you in your knowledge of Arabic and Arabic names, but Aldebaran is the name of a star. And may I ask you how one can become introduced on a message board if it is not by starting to post? ? As an invisible ghost? Well, we are only allowed one membername here and I have made mine, so I can’t come on under “Ghost”. And I don’t “get on everyone” or whatever you mean there. I write. I have my particular style. Like you all do. People get used to eachother on message boards like this. And who is talking here about being “intelligent” or not? I’m sorry, I don’t quite follow that one. Boy, if that isn’t being hoisted by your own petard. Aldebaran is a double star in the constellation Taurus. Yup, that’s right. Where does the name Aldebaran come from, though? From _al-dabarn_, “the follower”, because the star appears to follow the Pleiades in the sky. Sorry to disappoint you in your attempt to achieve a smug superiority.
