I hope the scratch and sniff cards in the magazines at the grocery store checkout lines do not leak scent the way the perfume cards in the magazines do. ---

You guys are probably old like me - old enough to remember when TLC was THE FREAKING LEARNING CHANNEL! When we actually went to that channel to learn things, not have brain cells actively destroyed. ---

Didn’t John Waters already do this with _Polyester_? Come to think of it… Are we sure Honey Boo Boo isn’t a John Waters Production? Mama June looks a bit like divine, there’s lots of tasteless fart humor and the one episode I saw featured a Christmas tree being knocked over… Damn. ---

I had the misfortune to stumble on the show while I was scrolling through the channels. I paused, it was like watching a train wreck. I feel sorry for the child. It was bad enough for those of us whose parents had naked baby pictures to show to our future dates. This poor child will have re-runs. The show doesn’t need scratch and sniff, it already stinks. ---

I kind of like the show, and not because I like laughing at dumb rednecks. They seem like a genuinely happy family that really likes each other. Also, the parents have been doing smart things w/ the money from the show like investing in their children’s future college funds (they haven’t upgraded their home or anything, and the dad still works his same day job). It’s kind of a feel-good show. Seriously. ---
