I had 14 hits on a task yesterday, I’m working on 13 hits on my current task: RAS Protein: 1-1020-7-19-22. I’m not quite sure what the points mean, but I’ve racked up 4448 of them 😉 My computer runs 24/7. ---

Until this WU, I hadn’t had a single hit in over a week. This one is now 8% complete after twenty minutes, and I’ve already got eight hits. Is it just me, or do hits seem to cluster with other hits? ---

They rated mine at only 30% of the comparison device so I decided to leave it running while all the time. I’m impressed with Jenna’s 90 hits, Catalyst’s 66 hit’s, JimB’s 51 hits, k2Dave’s 48 hits, and Trion’s 43 hits. As I understand it there are 100 molecules in a workunit. I wonder what (if anything) such a high cluster of hits in a workunit means. Glad you joined Scotticher! A ---

I’m excited! I just had a WU finish at 45 hits. I know it isn’t much compared to some of yours, but I’ve only had one other WU in double digits, at 22. So I’m very pleased with 45. ---

Was anyone else having problems returning results this morning? I don’t know how long my computer was inactive, but I had to restart my computer before my last job was returned and a new one started. I know I could check their message board, but that wouldn’t bump this message now, would it? 😃 ---

Goll durnit, I’m on a measly 1224 points currently. Trouble is, I can’t download the program at work. Firewalls from Hades, and all that. Last week, the UD agent kept acting up. It kept stalling the progress, and it would only work again if I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It seems to work fine now, so I’m guessing it was due to some bad modules or something. Anyway, I’m not going very fast, but I’m still here! Which reminds me, I gotta get an e-mail out to my friends. Recruit some new people. ---

Ok friends, here’s one that surprises me. I have a work unit that has 96 hits and its only 49% complete. I had assumed (Yes, I’ve heard who the ass is when you assume.) that because each work unit has 100 molecules that the highest possible number of hits in a work unit would be 100. But that doesn’t really jibe with a 49% complete work unit that already has 96 hits. I’m off to “take a picture” of it and then see if I can find anything more on the UD bulletin board.
