# A year has passed...

According to my profile, I registered on 9-17-99, so I’ve been here a year now. I’m about to reach 2,000 posts, but I think enduring for a year is worthy of notice.

I’ve learned a lot and I hope to learn more. Cecil answered the first question I ever asked of him, but I’m considering asking him another, which means my batting average may drop. But even if he doesn’t, I’ll be here till they pry the keyboard from my cold, dead hands.

It’s worth a lot of notice. Good going.

But don’t be hasty trying to draw out the master. The last time I tried, I got dumped on for bringing it up.
