As the eternal six-month-on/six-month-off cycle reaches day one of another “on” period, there is much rejoycing in the Briston household. Yes, I know we’re still 32 days away from any of it counting, but I care not – tonight, I’ll be in front of my TV, and I will be watching NFL football. Yeah, I’m gonna be there too! It is the only sport I watch (well mostly. I watch women’s tennis sometimes and occasionally 9-ball on ESPN) I am looking forward to it, even if it is only pre-season. Hooray football! 🙂 ---

[/QUOTE] You aren’t in the Giants market? In between NYC and Boston, I get local games for three teams. So this Friday night I’m going to bask in the goodness of _three simultaneous games_: 7:30pm, ch 2: Jets vs Bucs 8:00pm, ch 3: Pats vs Falcons 8:00pm, ch 4: Giants vs Ravens Now _that’s_ the way to kick off preseason. I purposely skipped the game last night; the first action I’ll see will be an overdose, and will involve teams I actually care about. (Or at least am interested in watching, ala Ron Mexico and the vaunted 1-read “passing” attack.) ---
