The rules are basic. Pick a thread that YOU have started. Give us a link. The thread can have no more than two responses, by no more than one person. (To clear this up, it can only have 2 responses if one was by you or both by the same poster) Give it’s brief obituary (birth/death date, why you think it passed along…blahblahblah) For example: **R.I.P.** [Worlds’ Largest Easter Bunny](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=245673) **3-17-2004** **Obituary** Started in the line of Penguin Point after having too many drinks in the bar, FBoM&H decided that there was undoubtably a larger Sylvilagus of the cotton stuffed variety out there. It was decided (over more alcohol) that it should be taken to doper court. Alas, it’s life was short. Give us a chance to see your forgotten treasures this season. Pretty much all of mine have died a quick, yet painfull death (except the “cheese-on-pizza” one). Don’t even bother to search. * * * The “wanting” usually surpasses the “having”. ---

I’ve had a distressingly large number of these. **Did Savant ever apologize to Wiles?** in GQ, 06-19-2001 07:46 PM. No replies. I guess nobody knows. **Session 9 (there will be spoilers)** in The Cafe, died 03-21-2003 08:31 AM with 1 reply. Guess it wasn’t that memorable a movie. There were eight others that qualify, but I’m not interested in humiliating myself _that_ much. ---
