Since ESPN has had MNF, my ABC affiliate has aired Pats games. Does your ABC affiliate air your home team’s MNF games? ---

In Chicago, if a Bears game is on a cable-only network (MNF on ESPN, or Thursday Night Football on NFL Network), the game gets carried locally by an independent station (WCIU - Channel 26). ---

Nope. Not that I’ve noticed. And my home team is the Pats. There’s been some friction between the local station and ABC recently that may be a factor. ---

The Pats/Texans game this next Monday is being carried by the CBS affiliate here in Houston. Part of the deal ESPN cut with the NFL for doing Monday Night Football was that a local affiliate in each team’s home market also gets to broadcast the game over the air. It’s not always going to be the ABC affiliate. ---

I can’t find next Monday’s game on any local station. Looks like it will be fairly warm next Monday, gotta see if those tickets are still available. ---

Here in the Bay Area, Thursday/Sunday Night/Monday Night 49ers games are carried on the CBS affiliate. Raiders games (such as the one this coming Thursday) are on the ABC affiliate. ---
