Sinclair and Nexstar may have been more sensitive than Disney about staying on the Orange Peril’s “good” side. And I sense a hint of “applause for Stalin”: neither one wanted to be the first to stop clapping, but they figured the Comey distraction gave them enough cover that they could avoid being ketchup stains on the Oval Office wall. ---

RE: Kimmel in Brooklyn For a place called Brooklyn Music Academy, that place has _horrible_ acoustics (at least over the TV). But the shows have been funny as hell and the special guests showing up unannounced is pretty cool. Glad he’s back to full coverage. You know it pisses _somebody_ off! ---
