I spent most of the night walking the floor with my daughter who is not quite one year old. She is without a doubt, one of the most beautiful children on the face of the earth even if she doesn’t have much hair. She has had the flu so pretty well anything that has gone in comes right back out at high velocity. I should mention that she is teething and has the diaper rash from hell. (Corn starch works best). I blew my knee out playing hockey a week ago so what was normally just exhausting was excruciating painful as well. The T3’s aren’t putting a dent in the pain this morning. On the bright side I just got to sit down as my beloved little girl has finally fallen asleep. I can take a little rest and watch my knee swell up before my eyes. Woo fucking hoo! So quite understandably I am cranky, tired, and in some degree of pain. I really need to blow off some steam cause they don’t need psycho dad around here this morning. I was going to rant about the American Music Awards (Brittney needs to be speared) but I stopped here first. What’s this? It’s another couple of wankers suggesting that we do away with The Pit. I am getting a sense of deja vu. Did I just read that whiteho… er… whitetho liken the Pit to a toilet and state that we’re just losers trying to impress other losers? Let me check… yep. Wait… 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 ziiiiiiip! 11. So maybe I could keep it simple for whitetho and just say “fuck off”. naaaah! If C3 was walking into a hornet’s nest with her hands waving then whitetho looks to me like someone who has decided to douse themselves in gasoline before firewalking. after a second look it seems that C3 doesn’t deserve to make the wanker list as she has some class. Whitetho… We don’t need people like you coming down here to make a pathetic attempt to gain some moral high ground. Do you feel like you are better than me? Keep it up and you are just going to end up looking like the crap I scrape off my shoes. Take note that people have been really nice to you so far but it won’t last if you keep it up. If you have self esteem problems take it somewhere else instead of coming here to put down the articulate, intelligent, passionate, and good looking people who frequent The Pit. People like you chap my ass so it’s a good thing I stock industrial strength butt polish here. I feel so much better now… methinks I need a nap. ---

I like the Pit. I oft times call myself “Pit Bitch” because I spend a lot of time here. I like to be able to cuss and not worry. I like to bitch and moan and not worry. I like the fact that when things get too hot a lot of times folks go “whoa! Wait a minute” and calm down and see it from the other side. A lot of times folks apologize to each other and mend fences. I also like hearing what bugs other folks and what other folks think they should do about it. The Pit opens my eyes in a way no other forum could. So… I like it. Frankly, if you don’t, please don’t read it. I think it is a very important part of the overall SDMB experience. Yes, it can and does get nasty in here; however, it’s also one of the most honest places on this board. And let’s face it, honesty can HURT. At least in here, when it hurts, you can yowl like a banshee and not get kicked out for it! 🙂 ---
