There’s some new [activity](http://vulcan.wr.usgs.gov/Imgs/Jpg/MSH/MSH05/MSH05_plume_from_CVO_office_03-08-05_med.jpg) today!

Any news from the source? I missed the bit on the news tonight, but I’m told there was actual lava flow… can anyone tell me more about it?

Check out [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=306027) I created detailing today’s event.

There was no lava flow. Media hype but no lava flow.
