Okay- hopefully the last need to update before surgery part deux. CT scan is normal, and they are thinking it is either an inflamed nerve or a minor virus, no worries. Apparently, the nerve that controls the area that is lacking movement was one that was moved out of the way, then put back in place during the surgery, so it may have caused some inflammation that should work itself out shortly. Thanks again everyone, your support has been immeasurably helpful through this!

Oh god, good luck! She’s doing amazing and she’s got everything on her side… especially youth. Her brain will heal so fast.

Thanks again all- second surgery is scheduled for Friday morning, bright and early. I think she is pretty much ready to get this done and get going with life again. If you want an idea of what they are doing this time around, you can search coil embolization of aneurysm on youtube, there is actually some interesting stuff there.
