# About My Straight Dope T-Shirt

Apparently, when I ordered it something went awry on the ordering page, and when I called the number I was given, this very apologetic dude told me he would send my shirt free of charge, because of the glitch in the system. I protested strongly because I also wanted to support SDMB, and sending me a t-shirt free of charge wouldn’t help the cause, right?
Well, I wanted the t-shirt to wear on my trip home to Germany, and I got it in time, but I still have not been charged for it on my credit card!
My dear friend, thanks, but let me _pay_ for the shirt. Please?

I suppose it’s possible that the Straight Dope order dudes have have marked your order complete and deleted your card info. Why not repost your number in this thread? That’d make it easy for them to find, and I’m sure you’d quickly end up with the all charge(s) you could ever want.

The Reader folks that handle the Straight Dope store have little to no connection to the board; for sure they’re not seeing this.

Don’t worry about them not accepting AMEX yet. Be thankful they take credit cards at all. 😉
