Yes, that was definitely a fascinating read. It is quite sad to read about such a troubled family, though. I certainly agree with the comments in the article that “hardwiring” plays a role in who we are. I’m not a psychologist, but a lot of the dysfunctional behavior in that article seems to suggest borderline personality disorder, which is believed to have a genetic component. ---

It’s generally believed that’s so much hooey, but I wonder if that’s what he’s going for. ---

It doesn’t speak well for therapists that Courtney Love’s mom is one. Aren’t therapists the people who are supposed to help sort yourself out if you have family problems? ---

Wow, Paula Fox is Courtney Love’s grandmother? Interesting. The article was fascinating, indeed. Also sad – very sad. And Hank Harrison sounds like an absolute dick. Every quote from him made me like him less.
