I had a thread about this the other day and apparently they don’t keep tabs on write in votes unless asked. I’d like to see how many Dave Barry gets, seeing as how he runs ever year. Hell, I’d like to see ALL the write in votes. –Tim ---

I wrote in Mickey Mouse for president in the 1992 election…I wonder how many votes he did get. _ponders_ I wonder who would be a better president…Mickey Mouse or Batman… …but I digress… _grins_ ciao! ---

I usually vote for myself, for some obscure office like city (Gardena, CA) treasurer or member of the board of the local water district. Since I’m not registered as a write-in candidate, however, that vote isn’t counted. ---

I myself voted for Bill and Opus in '88, when the networks said that Bush was a done deal already, and I was in California. ---
