# Abysmally bad parenting

Everytime I read something like this, I feel unbelievably grateful for the parents I do have. And anger that:  
You need a license to fish, but any idiot can raise a child.

I couldn’t bring myself to wade through that particular mess right before the holidays, much too depressing. Glad you beat me too it, sorry you had to read it.

I guess I’m too jaded, I laughed out loud at the story. Not that it wasn’t a bad thing, and I would definitely advocate cruel and unusual punishments for this guy, but his rationalization - is priceless.
