Picture this; Memorial Weekend and nothing to mix with the only alcohol left in the cabinet, Tequila. Didn’t feel like walking the block and a half to the liquor store for something different so I decided the I’d give the Tequila a go. Usually, I can stomach anything straight up or on the rocks with a little water. Not tequila. Only in emergencies will this work. So, I looked around the house. Only lemonade, and lime Pepsi available. Not looking good so far. Then I notice the kids are drinking apple juice boxes. Hmmm. Might as well give it a go. I take a sip from the bottle of Tequila, then I take a sip from one of the juice boxes,- mix in mouth and think, Hey, this might work. Find Jack Daniels Whiskey Glass in the china cabinet. Add about ten small ice cubes, two fingers of Tequila and then cut open the corner of one of the juice boxes and fill glass with apple juice. I just invented my new favorite drink. It’s almost as good as Vodka and Lemonade. Be careful not to overdue the Tequila, you’ll bruise the drink. Keep a four to one ratio and you’ll be OK. That’s four parts juice, not Tequila, unless you _really like_ Tequila. That was a GREAT weekend. ---

Cool! Ten or so years ago I was at Hilton Head on vacation. I was watching the kids play in the surf while all the other adults were off shopping. I had a bottle of Scotch and a cooler with ice. No glasses, no cups. Except for the babies’ tippy cup. So, I put a few cubes in the tippy cup and filled it with Scotch. Delicious. Got weird looks, however. 😉 ---

By the way, tequila and lemonade is really really really good. Actually better than vodka and lemonade - add a little sprite for bit of a fizzy kick also. ---

I have found the only thing that mixes with Jagermeister is rootbeer. Coke & Pepsi aren’t strong enough, and I can’t imagine any other flavor that goes with it. ---

Quick, cheap, low calorie margarita, for that diet concious lush: in a blender mix 1 cup vodka 2 cups Minute Maid light lemonade (zero calories, tastes like regular good lemonade) Splash of lime juice if ya got it 10 packets of Splenda Fill with ice, Blend yum ---

Drop (gently) the jeager shot glass into the hi-ball glass filled with RB (some of you may call this a ‘depth charge’). Drink fast, but don’t chip your teeth on the shot glass. If you wait too long to drink and the liquids mix completely, you have a ‘dirty bomb’.
