# 'Acid' bands of the '80s

There seemed to be a number of bands with ‘Acid’ in their names in the 1980s. I can think of:  
[ul][li]Gaye Bikers On Acid[/li][li]Thatcher On Acid[/li][li]Acid Casualties[/ul][/li]Any others?

And what was with ‘Acid’ band names in that era?

Lords of Acid formed in 1988, but didn’t really have much success until the early 90’s.

The 80s seemed to have many more _Youth_ Bands  
[ul][li]Youth[/li][li]Sonic Youth[/li][li]Musical Youth[/li][li]Youth of Today[/li][li]Reagan Youth[/li][li]Damien Youth[/li][li]Angry Youth[/li][li]Wasted Youth[/li][li]Untamed Youth[/li][li]Youth Brigade[/li][li]Rational Youth[/li][li]Crucial Youth[/li][li]Eastern Youth[/ul][/li]
