Look-- I wasn’t trying to challenge you or scare you or anything like that. My original question about how you knew it was authentic was just my curiosity-- maybe you were an expert in Goya and I might learn something neat. I apologize if my poor phrasing made it sound like I was trying to piss on your parade.
I wouldn’t worry about it - like what you like. I’ve got a “copy” of Turner’s “Rain Steam and Speed” which I love beyond all measure (painted by a hippy loon who lives in a caravan - cost to me was 100 quid, a takeout Indian meal and a years subscription to Private Eye). I eventually saw the original, and frankly it’s a different category of better, but goodness me it’s still the first thing I’d take out of a burning Struan-house.
I think their chick peas are tastier than the store brand, but haven’t tried buying them online.
