I know this is subtle, but there’s a difference between these two statements:

1. There are no cases the other way.
2. None of us can think of any cases the other way.

When I posted the above, none of us posters had provided an example of a case the other way. What I wrote was a simple fact. Subsequently a small number of examples were presented, but not so many as to invalidate my thesis IMHO.

I don’t know if Kimstu’s looking at the boards too much right now, but I communicated with her via email today, and can tell you she’s OK, but has been busy lobbying for sanity.
