I’ll throw out one that isn’t an acronym but should be, POOH. Pull Out of Hole, unfortunatly its just used as an abreviation but come on. ---

No-one has answered the OP yet, but I’m sure you all know about Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. My favourite is one my father invented - he works in sex education, and suggested the standing committee be called the Sexual Health Alliance Group. They immediately realised - and agreed! ---

Therew’s a group of people going around deliberately defacing billboards that advertise tobacco products, and paint anti smoking slogans on them. The call themselves the Billboard Utilising Graffitiists Against Unhealthy Promotions. (BUGA UP) (Hmm, I’m not sure if that expression is known in America) ---
