Yes, and Denzel Washington played the part of Malcolm in at least ten movies, but I can’t find any mention anywhere of the first nine of them. ---

Jackie Chan has been in 126 movies, I would estimate that in at least half of those, he has played essentially the same character (in _Two Dragons_, he played twins). Many of those characters are even named “Jackie”, at least in the English dubs. ---

Luchador [Mil Máscaras](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mil_M%C3%A1scaras) has played himself in [19 films](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0556106/reference). The first, _Los canallas_, came out in 1968, and the most recent one, _Aztec Revenge_, was released this year. He’s had quite a run. ---
