B.S. Pully is probably best known for his brief, but unforgettable, role as crap shooter extraordinaire Big Jule in “Guys and Dolls.” Also, in a smaller role, the Christmas tree vendor in “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.” Here is a snippet from the movie “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad” (1958). I think the pirate threatening Torin Thatcher is B.S. Pully? Opinions?

His son is LA attorney Steven Lerman, who represented Rodney King some years ago. I halfway thought about sending an email to his website asking “Is this your dad?” But I figured that the chances that a) he’d actually see it and b) actually respond were small.
