I can’t stand Lindsay Lohan. Ugh! I can’t stand Jake Gyllenhaal. He’s the reason I haven’t seen B.M. I can’t stand Melissa Joan Hart. It’s something about the way they look. I have no other reason. ---

John Wayne. All these years after Vietnam, and I still just cannot stand that guy. I’ve never been able to stomach either Barbara Stanwyck or Joan Crawford. In the modern era, Matthew McConaughey springs to mind. Smarmy. ---

Julia Roberts. I just can’t stand to look at her and I think she’s homely, but that’s cool. She’s unique looking and I give props for staying unique and weird looking in Hollywood. It’s actually the bitchy aura that turns me off. That and I hate every movie she’s ever been in. Jude Law: smarmy pretty-boy sleaze oozes out at me from the screen when he’s on ---

I can’t believe I forgot Juliette Lewis. While she is cute in a non-Hollywood fashion, I truly believe one could substitute a mannequin in stage makeup in to any role she has done. Something about her makes me think that, between takes, she plays with hand puppets and draws, in crayon, crude family portraits on the back of her script. ---

(Some performances, like Cape Fear, I get the feeling they held her attention by jiggling a pack of twinkies behind the camera.) ---

I did like his evil hitman with the freshly scarred face in ‘The Road to Perdition’, but mostly it was because he got shot in the end. 😃 Somewhere at a breakfast table, Jude is slamming down his lap-top lid and shouting out to no-one “But…but…you weren’t supposed to like him…!” 😃😃😃 ---

I won’t watch movies with them in it: Hugh Grant - why on earth do they keep casting this talentless egomaniac? Whitney Houston - I can’t quite explain why I hate her, I just do. My anticipation of a movie is all but murdered when I find out they’re part of the cast: Hilary Swank - I know it’s catty, but she’s almost painful to look at. Vince Vaughn - He makes every movie he’s in worse because he’s creepy even when the role doesn’t call for it. ---
