Congratulations to DCnDC who had a unique movie pick for each actor (except, ironically enough, Nicolas Cage) to win the Actors Antifeud!
It was tough for the folks who misremembered movies - avoiding the 15-point penalty was the main difference between finishing in the top half versus the second division. Regrets to ekedolphin who apparently turned in a partly-unfinished form, but otherwise did well for the valid entries.
Regarding the actors, Nicolas Cage had the fewest duplicates, with only one movie (Pig) mentioned multiple times, and that only twice. Roy Scheider had four mentions of Jaws and two other duplicated films, which made him the toughest actor to find a unique film here - though Warren Beatty gave him a run for his money, with only five entries making unique picks from his filmography.
Thanks to everyone who played!
I’m not sure the antifeud concept worked too well, and it’s hard to generalize to more free-form answers, but I had fun putting it together and I hope everyone had fun playing.
Yes, well, I was stumped on getting any movies for the ones I skipped. And the rules stated clearly that I wasn’t allowed to look them up.
Thanks for the fun!
I misread the instructions and played it like a usual feud and wound up with a score of 15, so it worked out for me. Thanks for running this, it was fun!
Thanks for hosting this!
Thanks for running this.
I had a great time. Do it again sometime! I don’t normally draw a blank on actors like I did this time, and as a former Blockbuster employee, I’m a little embarrassed. ![]()
