You all know how the game is played, and the nice thing about SDMB is we’re spared having to watch the person answering pretend to contemplate when they’re asked (as if they haven’t seen it 8,219 times before). My answers: _What is your favorite word?_ [Aeolian](http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=aeolian), for the sound more than the meaning. _What is your least favorite word?_ Skillet or kitchen- both are just unpleasing in general. _What turns you on?_ Irreverent laughter. _What turns you off?_ Fanaticism (regardless of the subject). _What sound do you love?_ The cello. _What sound do you hate?_ A high-strung woman screaming or a belligerant male drunk. _What is your favorite curse word?_ Actually it’s a phrase: What the fuck? What the fuck what the fuck? _What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?_ Documentary filmmaker. _What profession would you not like to participate in?_ Nursing. (Forget teaching; _nurses_ are the most overworked, underpaid and underappreciated profession there is, imo- why any sane person would enter it I’ve no idea, but thank God they do. _If Heaven exists what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?_ “You know, until this moment I wasn’t sure whether you really existed or were just a myth to make Us feel better.” (My favorite answer to the last question was Peter Falk’s: “What’d you pay for them shoes?” ---

The OP is asking for a discussion on individual Dopers’ personal idiosyncrasies. Just because you got the questions from a TV show doesn’t mean it’s a discussion about art or entertainment. Everything has been mentioned on TV at one point or another, so everything is appropriate to CS, right? ---

Lissener, me boogie, please leave. I really don’t want another 100 post hijack on “Why I’m brighter than the other posters” here as you’ve done to other columns. To the best of my knowledge you paid the same $4.95 that I did, hence the bandwidth for threads you consider unworthy really isn’t coming out of your pocket. If the Mods think this is in the wrong Forum, I have both blind and sighted faith that they’ll move it as softly and efficiently as a well trained Labrador retrieving a dead drake and thus into their capable hands I commend it. So if you aren’t impressed with the intellectual merits of this or any other OP I start, I absolve you of any responsibility to tell me so and request that you just make like Whitney’s aunt and _"Walk on by…_.
