A consummate professional. Pretty well everything I’ve seen with Isabelle Huppert and Charlotte Rampling I really like and want to pursue more of their stuff. \*Yep, more than _Shawshank_. Paul Bettany. I’ve loved him in everything I’ve seen, but if I had to pick a role that he was born to play, it was Stephen Maturin in _Master and Commander: Far Side of the World_. Alex Kingston. Though she’s criminally underused in _A Discovery of Witches._ Denzel Washington. Sterling K. Brown. Only seen him in _This Is Us_ and _The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel_, but I’ve been impressed. And of course, the classic RADA bunch: Patrick Stewart, Anthony Hopkins, Judi Dench, Roger Rees, Derek Jacobi. I’ve yet to see David Tennant in anything I didn’t like; same with Peter Capaldi and Emma Thompson. Um, can you tell that I’m a bit of an Anglophile? ---
