He was in The Wiz (musical), Captain Eo (for Disney World, I think), the Thriller video (OK, it was just a music video, but it was the first real long-form music video with story line and what-not), and probably some other stuff. I don’t think he’d ever be up for any kind of acting award had he lived, but he was an actor. ---
