Severely MAGA.
For a few ladies that are good at sinister characters, I’d like to nominate Marcia Gay Hardin as Mrs. Carmody in The Mist, and Laura Linney in Mystic River, Ozark, and Primal Fear.
Yeah, in Primal Fear, she was technically a “good guy,” but she was perfect as the prosecuting attorney.
Tom Hardy. He was great as both Kray brothers in “Legend”, and his Alfie in “Peaky Blinders” was so good they kept bringing him back after they killed him off.
His whole sequence of deciding & convincing his companion to leave DiCaprio behind in “The Revenant” was excellent too. And looking back, Bane is better than the attitudes at the time gave him credit for.
A 2018 Newsweek article going into some detail I’m sure it’s only gotten worse since then.
He’s currently my favorite actor. Absolutely mesmerizing. You can’t take your eyes off of him, Alfie being a terrific example.
Also, Byron De La Beckwith, just skin crawling performance.
Edward Norton. Just watch American History X or Primal Fear.
