Ian Shaw looks rather eerilie like his father Robert…to the extent that when I saw him in one of the Sharpe movies, I thought it was Robert Shaw until I saw the credits.

I never noticed a strong resemblance when Samuel West was younger, but I recently saw him in an episode of “Foyle’s War” wearing a mustache and getting a bit jowly–and he looked very much like his father, Timothy West. A few more years, and he’ll be the image of his dad.

My mother and grandmother have both talked on the phone to me and thought I was my dad. My mom talked to me in person (in earshot, but around the corner), and thought I was my dad. When looking at pictures of us when we were young (not just baby pictures, up to teenage years), even we can’t tell who’s who.[/hijack]

This is absolutely the answer. No one else comes close. When seeing either of them on TV I find it impossible to tell them apart. Everyone else mentioned in this thread has a resemblance to their parent. The Walkers really did look exactly alike.

God, that is weird. I always thought that he looked like John, but with Sean, it’s kind of strange because he definitely looks Asian, and yet he looks just like John, too. I don’t really see any of Yoko in him, particularly…he looks more like an Asian version of John to me!

Yoko was a single parent to Sean from the age of 5, and I’ve never heard where he was in a lick of trouble, used drugs, or had any therapy.
