Andie McDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral was the first to occur to me when I read the thread title, but I see others beat me to it. Not surprising, as she stunk up an otherwise good movie. ---

Keanu Reeves in The Matrix (the first one, which was the only one I liked). Adam Sandler in Billy Madison (to explain, I usually can’t stand him, but this movie cracks me up). Leonardo DiCaprio in Gangs Of New York. ---

Russell Crowe in _A Beautiful Mind_. I’ll grudgingly admit he did a spectacular job of it, but if I’m ever given the opportunity, I’ll _still_ kick him square in the nuts for the unforgivable offense of being Russell Crowe. ---

Not actors but the spider like thing that emerges from the mothership in Close Encounters - It looks like a cheap kid’s toy. The “smiling?” alien itself isn’t too convincing either. Spoils an otherwise excellent movie. ---

Another vote for Elijah in LOTR. Tom Cruise in _Legend_. Timothy Dalton in the two 007 flicks he did. Keanu Reeves in everything but _Bill and Ted_. ---
