Never heard of any of these people, until this. Could it be one of those things like Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard, where nobody came out of it looking good? ---

Blake was great in _A Simple Favor._ One thing I have gathered over the years by watching Ryan Reynold’s interviews and stuff is that a) he loves his job and b) he loves his wife. The second one’s important, because he’s a big star, and therefore Baldoni is in a _lot_ of trouble. Which pleases me. ---

Yes, in that they used the same PR rep to undermine Lively’s reputation that Depp used to slander Heard. In fact, the PR rep used the same Norwegian “journalist” to attack bothe Heard and Lively. ---

It may be that his career is shot now, so suing is his only possible source of income. ---

His goal isn’t to come across well; that ship has already sailed. The goal is to throw mud in every direction until people are sick of the whole situation and are left thinking that everyone involved is terrible, not just him. It’s the Johnny Depp defense. ---

The whole Nicepool thing is just - _insane_. As in - paranoid lunacy. _Even if_ Nicepool were a caricature of Baldoni, he’s not portrayed as anything but a nice guy and eventually a victim, in the movie. ---

Update: Baldoni’s $400 M lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds has been dismissed for failure to fix pleadings. Background is that a while ago, the court granted Lively’s application to strike the pleadings, but with leave to Baldoni to amend them to fix the defects. Baldoni did not apply to do so by the deadline. On October 14 the court issued a show cause order, giving Baldoni two weeks to show cause why he hadn’t amended the pleadings.
