Yes, I’ve noticed that about sex scenes in art house films. It’s just one of many reasons I tend to avoid art house films.

There’s [Dany Verissimo](https://www.google.com/search?q=dany+verissimo&client=firefox-a&hs=7hO&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=QJ5lUtTmJs_siwKJyAE&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=934)(possibly NSFW, depending on where you work), who did some hardcore porn and also starred in the crazy good (emphasis on “crazy”) [District B13](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/district_b13/).

Although District B13 is a French film, so maybe doesn’t count as “Hollywood.”

Although I watched it on Netflix! Good enough for me.
