Hey: I’m trying to come up with a list of ad slogans/jingles (old and new). If you can think of any, post’em . Also, Anyone know what "I can’t believe I ate the whole thing!’ is from?

Hey, how could they miss:
“Everything’s better when it sits on a Ritz.”
Some others I remember:
“Everything’s better with Bluebonnet on it.” (Was “It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature” also Bluebonnet margarine?)
“7-UP, the Uncola.”
“Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.”
“L’Oreal - because I’m worth it.”
“Manly, yes, but I like it too.” - Irish Spring soap
“He likes it! Hey Mikey!” - Life cereal (this one ought to be familiar around here for other reasons, eh?)
“They’re GRRREAT!” - Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes
“Silly Rabbitt, Trix are for kids” - Trix cereal
“Well, my broker is EF Hutton, and EF Hutton says…”
“Dodge trucks are ram-tough”
“Cotton - the fabric of our lives”
“Two, two, two mints in one” - Wrigley’s Doublemint gum (I think)
A few tourism slogans:
“New Jersey and you - perfect together.”
“I love New York”
“You’ve got a friend in Pennsylvania”
“Come to Jamaica and feel alright”
“It’s beautiful in the Bahamas”
and New Yorkers might remember:
“Beautiful Mount Airy Lodge” (Poconos hotel)
“You can have it all, and it’s up to you, at the Nevele!” (Catskills hotel)

By the way, I always suspected that a millionaire’s money could indeed buy better coffee than Chock Full o’ Nuts (did you know Page Morton Black, the singer of said slogan, is still alive? She’s gotta be 154!)

OK, I’m gonna say “I’m sorry” right up front with this one, cause I think this counts as a hijack, but I just have to get this one out. I remember this commercial from when I was little and I seem to be the only one who remembers it. It was for Calgonite ™ the dishwashing detergent and it went like this:
"I’m the Spotmaker. I live in your dishwasher, spotting and streaking glasses and dishes. Do I make you unhappy? Embarass you?
Oh no!! Calgonite!!’

There’s a site called [www.tvparty.com](http://www.tvparty.com) where all things TV, including commercials, are archived. Try checking there…they seem to specialize in older and rare stuff…
