If the country is something like 64% white, 12% black, 16% hispanic, 5% Asian and 3% everything else, then baseball is awfully close at 28.5% hispanic, 8.3% black, 1.7% asian 2.4% other and 59.1% white. If anything, it’s skewed Hispanic. That’s not to say that it’s perfectly representative, but representative enough and inclusive enough to where any complaints about racial representation are going to find some pretty rocky ground to try and grow on. ---
