Alright this is close enough for me to tell my scary clown story. I always found them a bit creepy before this, but now I HATE clowns. Throughout my youth my family rented a house at Bethany Beach in Deleware. For those who haven’t been BB is a nice clean family friendly resort with very little to do after dark. Being the fourteen year old hoodlum I was I routinely snuck out of the house late at night to roam. It was about 2am and I was with a couple of friends walking through the one main street of the deserted town. For some reason I looked up at the second floor window of a small shop. The second floors usually housed small apartments and the like for seasonal residents. Looking down at me was some guy with full clown makeup on. He didn’t move, speak, or change expression. He just stared at me with a blank expression. I looked long enough to know for certain that it wasn’t a doll or toy. Needless to say I took off running as fast as I could. If it were possible for a healthy fourteen year old to have a heart attack I’m sure I would have. To this day I can’t come up with a plausible explanation for a man dressed in clown make up at 2am. ---

I grew up just three blocks away from [this](http://www.ohiotrespassers.com/witches/clown.html) thing. A clown so scary a site giving dircetions to abandoned buildings in the Ohio area actually uses it in their directions, and refers to it as “The Scary Clown Sign.” ---

Cuh-reepy!! I don’t so much mind people dressed as clowns (except for Tim Curry as Pennywise), but the dolls–scary. And you’re right, **Kalhoun** , that one was spookiest of all. ---
