Not to rehash the subject of the previous thread, because we don’t speak ill of the banned, but as a spin-off of the thread I wanted to say that Tripler did as promised and I received the contest award! Here are the Cheetos in the package: [[Album] Cheetos! ![](https://i.imgur.com/DIaMDrk.jpeg?fb "Cheetos!") ](https://imgur.com/a/KgCt1Xa) And also a jar of hatch chile, which happens to be one of my favorite things: [[Album] Chile! ![](https://i.imgur.com/YDO4C0Y.jpeg?fb "Chile!") ](https://imgur.com/a/Yma67oL) Thanks again! ---

You’re welcome! When a man puts Chile and Cheetos on the line, you know it’s a damn serious wager. Tripler Serious wager-er. ---

> [@Happy\_Lendervedder](#): > > Are those the Hatch chiles from Costco? No, I got them from the local grocery store. Costco carries the same brand, but Costco is all the way down in Albuquerque; that’s a 2 hour drive. Tripler I _like_ you guys, but not to the point of driving _two hours_ for a Grand Prize. 😃 ---

Rather than having to sort back through that thread, could someone remind me what the prize is for (or link the post that mentions it)? Was it like a pool on how long the guy would be around? ---

The contest was a pool on who chose the date on when **SamuelA** would be banned. [Here are the official rules](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=21743598&postcount=1369) of the contest. Tripler Revel in the cheesy, orange-powder glory. ---

Rats. I just scrubbed the Cheeto dust off _my_ fingers. Breakfast of (programmer) champions!
