I was on a cooking kick today. I made pene pasta with meat sauce for the twins for lunch, and for the hubs and I, I made Spanish rice with black beans which we made into burritos with cheese and salsa. The for dinner I made hamburgers. It was yum. There is a ton of pasta left, so I know what I am having tomorrow. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 44 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 65 for the day. We are on another warmin’ trend here in south Jawja. **mmmmmms** don’t let **doggio** fool ya. Sure he uses coasters but you don’t wanna know _how_ he uses 'em. :eek: I think **flytrap** called me an ass. :dubious: Ok now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence. Da cave smells like roasted turkey, which is now all sliced up. Everything but the rolls is already cooked and will be heated up whilst the rolls bake after deheathenization. NUM! Happy Sunday Y’all! ---

Blurf. I will be meeting VunderKind and Future DiL for brekkies in about an hour.🙂 Scott looked better than I expected, but still like hell. Sister and I visited with him for about a half hour; maybe 5-10 minutes he was visibly awake. He was wacked out on morphine. There were flashes of his old self. I walked in and asked, “You gonna kick my ass?” “Give me 5 minutes, and I’ll get right on it.” 😃 My parting shot to him was, “Hey dude, when my time comes, I’m expecting you to be there to greet me.” “I will, man.” By my estimation, he doesn’t have much more than 2 weeks left. ☹ In other family news, my newly divorced sister has rediscovered the world of dating, so I gave her a lot of grief for that.
