Morning, mumpers - it’s definitely Monday morning now because I am at irk. So far, not very irked but I expect that to change pretty quickly as I’m about to delve into a heap of stupid student queries. And they do ask some quite ridiculous questions. As for my addictions, well there’s always my need for a good margarita! I had several on Saturday night so my addiction has been fed for at least a week. I’m not that bothered by chocolate although I am pretty sure I would not be able to live without curry. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 51 degrees Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 70 for the day. Tomorrows high is predicted to be high 70s, then low 70s Wednesday with rain/ tstorms and after that high temps in the 50s. Interestin’ weather week. **Midget** good OP! I too am addicted to caffiene. Gotta have my coffee in the mornin’ or the world suffers dire consequences. :eek: I am also overly fond of Diet Pepsi although I will drink Diet Coke in a pinch. I have somewhat of an addiction to beer and cookies but y’all know that already. However, I don’t have to have either one every day of the week. **Velvet** I have a large thing for Spider Solitaire as well. I only do two suits so it’s not as hardcore as your addiction. 😃 Now I need more caffiene (addiction!) and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. 'Tis Monday. I’m definitely not the caffeine addict many of you are. I do start the day, most of the time, with a diet Coke, but when I run out, I don’t generally go berserkers. And I don’t drink any caffeine at all after about noon. So that’s not an addiction. I really really really like chocolate (surprise!!) but it’s not something that I have daily or that I \*have \*to have. I’ll get the cravings occasionally, but nothing extreme. I have been hooked on a couple of stupid computer games of late. We bought a disk of Hoyle games and I get wrapped up in Star Collector till it pisses me off and I quit. I also like sudoku on line and the old standby Minefield. They’re sorta addicting in that I’ll sometimes lose track of time when playing, but when I’m done, I can move on to other things easily. Strangely enough, I occasionally don’t feel like looking at the MMP… 😛 And speaking of TMI, I think \*\*Apes \*\*wins for today, if not for the week! **~Olive~** - you could probably find a far worse crowd to hang with. We’re mostly harmless, and most of us know to use coasters, so there’s an element of class here, too. Welcome! Freezing rain on the way in - thankfully, the roads were just wet and not slick. Like da bear, we’ve got a few warming days before winter comes back. This week will include my eye exam, a dental check-up, and our puppeh getting spayed. Good times, all! Happy Monday!! 😃 ---

ETA: For those of you following the Cousin Scott story, I’ve just about been talked into a trip to Indiana this coming weekend to see him before he goes, rather than going to the funeral. Monday. Yay. Not. I am addicted to books, my ipad (so I can read said books - used to be my Kindle but it bit the dust last month), a nice glass of wine at the end of the day and sleep (although me and sleep are having a fight right now and I am loosing or winning depending on how you look at it (no sleep for the Jynxster). And now I have the song “Addicted to Love” in my head. Thanks. ---

Sodas in glass bottles have real sugar and taste like they did when we were all young’uns. I didn’t realize the taste difference until Pepsi release Throwback Mountain Dew a few years ago. I hate Mountain Dew, but Complicated Friend got a case of it and I had a can just to see. It tasted…good. Like it should have. Not nasty like that gamer fuel stuff in plastic bottles. So I switched to real sugar sodas and Pepsi hasn’t released Throwback Dew in a couple of years because they found out I liked it and that mustn’t be allowed according to their business plan. Today I have to get my car inspected. I’m also waiting on a FedUp package with papers that make me no longer a homeowner. That should have been delivered Saturday, but you see that didn’t happen. Those papers have to be in on the 31st. :smack: ---

I think that is a good idea **{{{Bobbio}}}** I just read a quote somewhere about people wanting to see you while they are still here, not much sense in coming to see them after they’re gone. I must have caffeine in the morning, preferably in the form of coffee, but since I’ve spent the last week with some sort of gasteroenteritis, I’ve been drinking tea. I’m also addicted to buttered popcorn and potato chips. I try not to eat popcorn every day but honest to God, I get the heebeejeebees thinking of NOT having it. It’s as bad as when I quit smoking. I’m also addicted to my horse. I cannot imagine life without him. It’s kinda rainy and quite foggy this a.m. We had an ice storm yesterday but fortunately the temps rose, the rain came and it melted. However, there’s enough salt on the roads to serve Oysters Rockafeller. ---

I’m addicted to too many things to count — hot sauce, a very few television shows, history. But I’m cheating; I come from a long line of addicts or addictive personalities. Some (mom’s entire side of the clan) couldn’t channel it well and became drunks. Dad’s side like me channeled it sideways and became “experts”. The same gene that made Uncle Geno a falling-down drunk with a long public record made me a above average historian who gets paid above average to give public talks. Go figure! **SPEAKING OF ONE OF MY ADDICTIONS** for those who want to play “Spot the Mumper” be sure to watch the Travel Channels zombie story on “Edge of America” tomorrow (Tuesday) night – I think like between 8pm and 9pm or something like that. It was filmed at this years ZombieFest where I volunteer. I’ll be the Amish zombie sometimes riding a cow-looking motorcycle. Don’t know if I’m in any of the footage but its possible. ---

My essay is finished and I turned in the online portion of the work. Tomorrow I hope to turn in the rest. I say ‘hope to’ because there’s some mystery form that I need to pick up at school. Not sure if I can fill it out right then and there or not. Now I’m going to bundle up and go out for a walk and hope that it doesn’t start raining while I’m out. ---

Telling stories. What usually gets me in trouble in the morning (or afternoon or…) is laying in bed imagining stuff until I’m late. I’m warm, I’m comfortable, and interesting things are happening in my mind. ---

Morning! I must **MUST** have my quad venti non-fat latte in the morning. Or things get stabby. I think that makes it an addiction. (I am also not interested in hearing Starbucks haters comments on the above. I like it.:D) We had a little to much fun on Saturday night and yesterday was spent in a mostly hungover state. Which I hate. I cannot party like I used to. I have an awful sinus headache today and not sure why and nothing is shifting it either. It is goign to be 75 degrees here this afternoon and holy cow is it huuuuumid today. Feels like Houston. ---
