How did the experiment work out?
I’ve read your dissertation on marine engines, and all you’ve done is highlight some differences, but you have failed in your ‘simpler’ claim.
The differences are about adaptation for use in different environs, but have nothing to do with making them simpler.
To tie this back to the original issue: Marine engines are good places to start with your experiment, so go rent a gas powered boat, fill it with some % of diesel and drive straight out to sea.
Dissertations on your training only make me more convinced you are never going to accept intelligent feedback here. How could someone with your background need the opinions of the SDMBers?
There is diesel in the fuel of your gasoline powered argument, and it has invariably weakened and stalled it.
How did it go?
