# adhay has been banned

In mid August, **adhay** was suspended for one month after repeated warnings for trolling and failure to follow moderator instructions. He was also instructed to stop bumping old ATMB threads with inane comments ([here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=14133552&postcount=161)) or making other nonsensical posts.

Shortly after returning from suspension, he resumed the behavior for which he had been warned and suspended, and received another warning. Examples are [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=625428) and [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=625418).

Given that he has continued the same behavior for which he was recently suspended, after discussion among the staff he has been banned.
